The Trip

On these pages you can take a look at what my 2-year cycle trip round the world was all about.  I kept regular online journals and uploaded a few photos. You might enjoy browsing through them.

I took a break from work, setting off in May 2008, from my home near Bristol, UK, travelling towards the rising sun. I travelled solo, unsupported and self-funded.

The trip gave me the opportunity to raise awareness of a couple of specific charities, The Leprosy Mission and the Deaf Studies Trust.
