Cycling Full Circle - the book

The Book Project

After long weeks of editing, re-editing, re-working, proof reading and amending back and forth with my editor/publisher, Cycling Full Circle was published at the end of May 2012. Hurray!

It was an eye-opening exercise, leaving me with a great deal  of regard for writers, their editors and the daunting task in hand. It also confirmed to me that I shall be a confirmed maiden author; glad I've done it - but never again. Although that's not to say I am not happy with the end result. And, as I used to be constantly reminded by an erstwhile friend, one should 'never say never!'

Launch of the book was at a local event on Diamond Jubilee Monday, 4 June 2012. My home village of Almondsbury held a Diamond Jubilee fair on that afternoon and it seemed a fitting opportunity to include my book launch and a signing at the same time.

This highly-successful event was followed by a book signing in Waterstones, The Mall, Cribbs Causeway the following Saturday, 9 June 2012.

eBook

Available (October 2013) in Kindle and non-Kindle formats, through Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Apple. :-)

Why buy my book?

Well, maybe at the end of reading it you will say, 'Oh, I'd like to do that.'

And the thought might stay with you, until eventually it says, 'Well, if she can do it, why can't I?'

And, then, well?

Well, then you could be in for the finest adventure of your life.

Or you might simply just enjoy the armchair-reading version.

Either way, two good reasons to make a purchase. :-)

Update (2024)

The last few copies of the book are in Waterstones Cribbs Causeway Bristol. When they are sold, that will be it from a new-book perspective.

Cycling Full Circle will still be available online as an e-book; and it is possible to buy it secondhand online, or to borrow it from public libraries in Southwest England.

I've had a fantastic run with sales of my book and thank all who have supported it, especially Paul Buckley at Waterstones, who has been a staunch advocate of it ever since 2012! Thank you, Paul :-)
